Car Seat Buggy 2 in 1 - Combos That Are Easy to Use
The Car Seat Buggy 2 in 1, combines two of the most crucial baby items: infant car seats and strollers. 2 in 1 stroller with car seat makes getting on and off public transportation (and walking up and down steps) much more convenient.
One of the most effective options is the Doona infant car seat and stroller combination. It's the first integrated travel system that lets you switch from the car seat to the stroller without causing any disruption to your baby.
Simple to Use
Parents should have a stroller and car seat combination that is simple to use. These systems make it simple to switch between running errands, walking your dog, or going for an exercise. They also aid in keeping up with your child's changing needs, so you can focus on enjoying your family's adventures. 2 in 1 pram and pushchair love how smoothly and conveniently these travel systems move, regardless of whether they feature one front wheel or a swiveling rear wheel. The Thule Urban Glide 2 Combo and the BOB Alterrain Pro combo are incredibly easy to move, but even the Baby Jogger City Mini GT 2 Combo and the BOB Revolution Flex 3.0 Combo can be moved effortlessly with just one hand.
Some models can be difficult to remove or attach from the base. The Doona Combo requires a two step process for attachment, as well as straps that cover the bottom portion of the infant carrier. It is tempting to skip these steps, however this could lead to dangerous results.
Certain models are also more difficult to fold or store than others, which makes them less practical. The Graco FastAction 3-in-1 Car Seat Stroller, for example, is difficult to fold due to its large dimensions and bulky frame. Some reviewers also find the canopy on this model disappointing. The Britax Parkway Combo Click and Go is easy to fold down with one button and a pull of the lever. This model is a great choice for parents who want to use their car seat in other cars, since it can be easily detached from the base.
Easy to Fold
Whether you're storing the car seat on its own, in the trunk of your vehicle or even in a closet, it should be easy to fold and unfold. The best combinations we've tested have an easy fold that's one-handed and sturdy enough to use for long walks. They're also easy to maneuver and glide smoothly over uneven surfaces. Some combos are attached and detached by straps. This can seem like a step in the back, and can make it more difficult for parents to secure their car seat properly.
2 in 1 stroller and car seat love the BOB Revolution Flex 3.0 Combo for its convenient features and sturdy build, which include a large storage basket that's accessible from front to back. Its exclusive SafeCenter LATCH makes it easy to achieve a secure car seat installation simply by connecting the lower anchors by pulling the straps tightly and then putting the carrier in the base.

It's also relatively lightweight, making it a great choice for frequent travelers or families with multiple vehicles. The Baby Jogger City Mini GT 2 Combo and the Thule Urban Glide 2 have also scored highly in our tests of ease-of-use. Both come with one front wheel that is easy to push (one-handed! ) and a swivel wheel with a variety of angles that's perfect for shopping and running errands. The only drawback is that they're quite heavy and may be difficult to lift up when carrying a child in a car seat.
Easy to Assemble
Some stroller and car seat combinations are difficult to put together. We found that the UPPAbaby Cruz v2 Combo was one of the easiest to build, and it even includes a handy quick-start guide that makes putting this travel system together a breeze. Other models, like the UPPAbaby Minu and UPPAbaby Vista V2 Thule urban Glide 2 and Baby Trend Snap-N-Go EX Universal were also simple to assemble. The BOB Revolution Flex 3.0 Combo however, is difficult to assemble. It requires two steps: attaching the lower anchors and using straps that protect the bottom of the carrier. It's heavy so it takes two people to snap the carrier in the base, and then detach it.
In our tests, we took around 5 minutes to assemble the UPPAbaby Cruz. This is a quick process when you take into account the time saved from not having to rip out all the individual pieces. The toddler seat can be put together and removed easily on the majority of these models.
